Sheedy's "T-Red" Dual-Lane Transporter recently completed one of the heaviest over-the-road transportation projects in British Columbian history, transporting a 415,000 lb., 24-ft. diameter Voith Hydro turbine runner to the Revelstoke Dam. Unable to source a trailer in Canada that had sufficient capacity to transport the massive runner and still comply with the BC Ministry of Transportation requirements to cross the bridges on the haul route, Voith Hydro then contacted Sheedy.

Sheedy's experienced heavy haul personnel were able to mobilize the dual-lane trailer 1,300 miles from the Bay Area to British Columbia, load the turbine runner, and deliver it safely to the dam, just sixteen days after being contacted by Voith Hydro.
